Kauline Cipriani will serve as the next vice president of diversity and inclusion at Colorado State University beginning Aug. 1.
“We are just thrilled to welcome Kauline to the leadership team of Colorado State University,” CSU president Joyce McConnell said. “She is taking on this critical role with a track record of success wherever she’s been, and will be able to build on the excellent work done by her predecessor, Mary Ontiveros.”
Ontiveros had held the role since it was created in 2010. Her retirement was announced in September 2020 and a search for her replacement began in December. Cipriani, along with three others, were named as finalists for the position in May and underwent public forums and private interviews.
