Job Description

The Department of Oral Biology, University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in the areas of stem/progenitor cell and developmental biology. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a firm background in stem cell and/or developmental biology. Candidates with dual degrees (e.g.. DDS/PhD, DMD/PhD, MD/PhD) are encouraged to apply. Experience with epigenetics, mouse models, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and bioinformatics is a plus. The candidate is expected to develop a research project aimed at defining gene regulatory networks that control progenitor cell identity in early development. Due to funding body requirements, applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents (green card holders) will be given high priority, but exceptional international applicants will be also considered.
