The Scissortail Summer Coordinator & Communications Specialist will recruit, coordinate, and maintain partnerships with Oklahoma attractions and ensure that activities are documented and published to K20’s LEARN educational resource repository. The incumbent’s job tasks will include




  • Partnership Coordination

  • Fiscal Coordination

  • Outreach Coordination

  • LEARN Activity Coordination

  • After School or Online Resource Coordination

  • Manage community outreach programs 

  • Coordinates outreach events with community partners

  • Collects event and outreach data, conducts analysis, prepares reports as needed.


 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree 



Required Experience: 18 months in community outreach related experience 



Skills:




  • Effective Oral Communication Skills 

  • Outreach Strategy Development 

  • Branding and Visual Communication Skills 

  • Project and Timeline Management 

  • Cross-Team Collaboration 

  • Meeting Facilitation 

  • Presentation/Pitch Development 

  • Prepare invoices for processing  

  • Partnership Management 



Certifications:




  • None



Advertised Physical Requirements:




  • Standard Office Environment



Departmental Preferences:




  • 2 years' experience facilitating or supporting partnerships 

  • 2 years' experience facilitating or supporting recruitment 

  • Experience in education 

  • Master's degree in related field and additional 12 months management/supervisory or leadership of community programs.
