Summary
Park lab is seeking highly motivated Research Technician II to join the NIH-funded research program focused on musculoskeletal and stem cell biology. The technician will be provided with an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of basic and translational research in a collaborative and stimulating environment. The position is most appropriate for (but not limited to) a recent graduate seeking an intensive research experience prior to graduate school or medical school.

Job Duties
- Assists procurement and maintenance of laboratory supplies, reagents, and stock solutions.
- Documents, collects, compiles and analyzes information obtained from laboratory experiments.
- Maintains basic mouse lines and performs genotyping.
- Assists basic laboratory works that includes FACS, tissue processing and staining, lab maintenance, animal maintenance and studying images.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- One or two years research experience in the biology field.
- Previous experience in molecular biology, general animal work, and tissue histology.
- Experience or interest in stem cell biology.
- Willingness to learn in vitro and in vivo stem cell assays.
- Excellent computer, written and oral communication skills.
