Work week is 37.5 hrs.

Paid Holidays – Employees receive 13 paid holidays


Employee Leave –

Annual Leave – Classified Staff, Non-Classified Staff and 12-month Faculty earn up to 24 days of annual leave per year (max 360 hours)

Job Description
The Director of Maintenance is accountable to ensure all aircraft are maintained in accordance with applicable regulatory, safety and manufacturer requirements. Must possess FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses. Works directly with the Director, Bill Noe Flight School (BNFS), and ensures aircraft availability for daily dispatch to support flight training. Excellent communication skills required. Provides a daily aircraft status report for tracking aircraft inspection/ maintenance criteria and dispatching aircraft. Ensures that all maintenance performed on all aircraft is performed correctly per applicable standards and regulations. Ensures facility is maintained in compliance with company and OSHA regulations. Responsible for all aspects of aircraft maintenance and maintenance personnel. Ensure aircraft are cleaned and prepared to meet daily dispatch requirements.
Salary Range $61,000 - $70,150 - Salary may be increased based off education, experience, and internal equity.

Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years full-time experience as an A&P/ IA
• Must possess FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses.
Experience
• Minimum ten years in aircraft maintenance, with a minimum of five years in FAR Part 135 or Part 91 operations.
• Proven experience and demonstrated ability to manage and supervise maintenance personnel.
• Recent experience in, and familiarity with, the maintenance and repair of current era piston engine aircraft.
• Demonstrated skill using Microsoft software applications, aircraft scheduling software and maintenance support applications such as CAMP and supplier customer web sites.
• Must have knowledge of Aircraft Systems and be able to read and understand wiring diagrams, system schematics, and other reference materials as needed for troubleshooting and maintenance oversight.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance and Federal Aviation Regulations
• Ability to design goals and assess learning outcomes
• Excellent organizational, written, interpersonal communication skills
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Willing and able to work various shifts
• Valid State issued driver’s license
• English proficient
