Responsibilities
The Finn Lab at OMRF is looking for creative, motivated applicants for a Research Technician position. We study how the genome is organized in human cells in order to understand how those cells make decisions. We will train you on cell biology techniques (DNA Fluorescence in situ hybridization, confocal imaging, automated image processing). You will carry out experiments independently after training and share in regular lab maintenance tasks. You will present your work one-on-one and in small group sessions to the lab and department, and we will identify and plan future experiments together.


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in one of the biological sciences or related area or equivalent years of professional, paid, relevant laboratory experience. Basic knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software. Must be detail oriented and work independently as well as a team player.
