Responsibilities
The Lewis Lab is looking for a Research Technician to conduct basic research into neurobiology and mitochondrial function using both in vitro and in vivo approaches in mice. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, mammalian cell culture, western blotting, molecular biology, immunocytochemistry, microscopy, mouse handling, euthanasia and dissection, and PCR genotyping. Training will be provided.


Qualifications
Bachelors degree typically in one of the biological sciences, physics, or chemistry or equivalent years of professional, paid, relevant laboratory experience. Should be familiar with standard lab techniques. Must work well independently and as part of a team. Must have effective communication skills and excellent attention to detail. Must be highly motivated, conscientious, and highly dependable.
