Summary:

This position functions as the Subject Matter Expert for Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) applications at Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides CTMS application support for users within the institution and external study sites. Acts as the Project Manager for application users, technical support personnel, clinical research administration, and vendor(s) during all system installations, issues, interfaces, and enhancements. Performs CTMS application administrative functions, including but not limited to: security, user access, addition of study sites, and creation of custom reports. Participates and contributes in CTMS application collaborations andforums. Provides team leadership for projects, administrative tasks, and user support.

Requirements:

This position requires a minimum of 5 years clinical research data/electronic capture software experience, preferably with clinical trials at an academic institution. Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of IRB, FDA and OHRP human subjects research regulatory guidelines and HIPAA privacy and security rules. Demonstrate a working knowledge of clinical trial conduct and regulations.

In lieu of a bachelor's degree six (6) years verifiable, relevant experience in IT application development &/or project management within the healthcare industry may be considered.

Demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide variety of professionals including physicians, nurses, etc. Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with others. Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to develop educational, quality assurance and training programs involving the CTMS programs.
