Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and propagate breeding pairs to generate transgenic mouse lines.
- Validate mouse strains by genotyping (DNA isolation, polymerase chain reaction,and gel electrophoresis).
- Perform western blotting, flow cytometry, and immunostaining experiments.
- Preparing oral and written reports, package and distribute results for project.
- Familiarization with the current research needs and goals in the field ofperipheral nerve injury.
- Participation in monthly virtual webinar series of the John’s Hopkins MerkinPeripheral Neuropathy and Nerve Regeneration Center.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation and manuscripts for publications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
