Physical Therapist I (Oncology)

The successful candidate:

  • The Physical therapist performs evaluations on patients for Physical Therapy needs and develops a plan care for treatment. Administers treatment(s) and test(s) as prescribed by the physician.

  • Conducts educational talks (in service) on benefits of Physical Therapy to patients, families, other disciplines (hospital staff), and to the community.

  • Non-patient related duties include, but are not limited to assisting in clerical duties of the department, posting charges, and housekeeping duties within the Rehabilitation Department.

  • This is a PRN position. Must be able to work between the hours of 8am - 5pm. Saturday hours are required. Required to work a minimum of four (4) to five (5) shifts per 4 weeks.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements

  • Must be a Graduate or have a certificate/diploma from and APTA approved school of Physical Therapy or a school approved by the World Congress of Physical Therapy

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of three years' experience preferred.

  • Acute care experience

Required Certification/Licensure

  • Must be licensed in the state of Georgia, or must have acquired a current temporary license or pass the state licensure examination

  • BLS

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $36.72 - $60.47 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
