Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP, (Project Management Professional) certification required. 3-5 years’ experience managing technical projects involving integrations, reporting, and data conversion.

Position Description:

Job Summary

UofL is implementing Workday Financial Management and sourcing a project manager to manage the testing activities to include sprint and end to end testing. May also include validating reporting and integrations. This position is a 2 year temporary position reporting to the Director of EPMO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for overall testing facilitation and coordination of testing logistics (e.g. room, computers)

  • Build and lead the testing team; oversee test preparations, and lead development of test scenarios

  • Issue escalation related to unresolvable test items

  • Develop standard test practices, tools, and any required deliverable templates and tools

  • Develop and distribute test metrics and coordinate testing status meetings project-wide

  • Facilitate sign-off for End to End and User Experience Review from leadership

  • Works closely with project team to define and manage task oriented plan to complete the required deliverables and activities.

  • Ensures overall coordination of issue resolution of complex and cross-functional work efforts.

  • Tracks progress, provides status, and escalates appropriately.

Competencies

  • Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and projects with little or no supervision.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive to resolution.

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and effective communication.

  • Experience in managing large scope and complex IT, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), integrations, data conversion or data integrity projects.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

  • Experience with Jira Software

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, (Project Management Professional) certification required

  • 3-5 years experience managing technical projects involving integrations, reporting, and data conversion.

  • Experience managing the technical components of an enterprise system like Workday, Salesforce or Service Now.

  • Experience working in an IT PMO.

  • Experience working in a higher education institution.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
