Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated UI/UX Developer with a strong background in user experience and interface design. As a member of our team, you will design and implement user interfaces and tools for a highly collaborative team of operations, hardware, and deep learning experts. We seek a developer with a high attention to detail who can effectively communicate about complex workflows and use-cases, and translate these into effective and intuitive user interfaces. The ability to develop simple APIs for backend applications is a plus. This position requires a drive for continuous innovation on existing processes and a strong focus on collaboration. Responsibilities: Design and develop frontend tools to support large-scale annotation efforts. Develop user interfaces to monitor quality, costs, and make projections across a large number of simultaneous data gathering projects. Represent our team within multi-functional groups, ensuring that user interface designs meet operational needs and technical requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and a strategic vision for crafting innovative design solutions.
- Solid experience in HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven competence in at least one JavaScript framework like Vue.js, React, Angular.js, or similar technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with version control
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with cross-functional partners in design, software, hardware
- Motivated and driven designer who collaborates well with a team to find simple solutions to complex problems
- Experience or interest in gaining experience working with Machine Learning and data driven AI Teams
