Job Description
Position Highlights:
The HR Service Center Assistant is responsible for all front office activities of the Human Resources Department. This includes responding to the needs of job applicants, making and reviewing appointments, and answering and triaging calls, while also providing administrative/clerical support to the HR staff. This position will require cross-training with the HR Answer Center staff so frequently asked questions can be answered by the HR Service Center Assistant. This role may require some keying of personnel transactions.
The Ideal Candidate:
Able to follow written or verbal procedures. Excellent verbal and written communications. Excellent judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive issues. Proficient in various software, including but not limited to MS Office software (including Outlook, Word, and Excel), ticket tracking software, and an ERP.
Responsibilities:
- Provides a positive first impression of HR to team members, applicants and visitors, (collectively, customers). Assists with various requests.
- Provides administrative and clerical support to the HR department.
- Scans team member documents.
- Orders HR department supplies.
- Submits work orders for HR's primary office location
- Supports the HR Answer Center administratively.
- Processes Verification of Employment (VOE) requests.
- Completes other job duties and tasks, as assigned
Credentials and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a Human Resources support role.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in a Human Resources support role highly preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.
- Familiar with ServiceNow and Lawson preferred.
