38-bed inpatient unit with ICU
DUTIES
Perform admissions, transfers, daily rounding, and coordination of discharges for medical/ surgical patients with oncologic complications in a compassionate, patient-focused environment.
Respond to codes and rapid responses.
Collaborate closely with pharmacists, medical/surgical specialty teams, and other ancillary staff as necessary to develop and manage a comprehensive plan for patients admitted to the hospital.
Current census 10-15. 38 total beds

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Recent experience and interest in the care of inpatient oncology patients and oncologic complications is highly preferred.
Competency in comanaging ICU patients in conjunction with critical care medicine.
Procedural skills preferred but not required
Eligibility for licensure in Arizona
