Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following functions:
Accounts Payable:
- Processing and/or submitting Purchase Orders or Payment Request requisitions;
- Conducting research on and clearing up old POs and requisitions;
- Investigating and resolving invoices that are on hold; assisting with setting up new vendors;
- P-card review, travel reimbursements,
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.
Accounts Receivable:
- Working with HMS service center administrators to generate monthly invoices and related accounting for internal and external customers;
- Ensuring any rejected invoices are reviewed and corrected in a timely fashion;
- Tracking revenue;
- Serving as the primary contact with Central Accounts Receivable Department (AR) and HMS departments/cores for invoicing inquiries and troubleshoot as required.
Financial Management:
- Reconciling monthly financials for all the service center accounts and non-sponsor accounts,
- Reviewing discrepancies with Cores Administrators and the Director of Finance,
- Assisting in other related tasks as necessary.
Basic Qualifications
3 or more years of administrative and/or related financial experience.Additional Qualifications and Skills
- The candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel and Word.
- Must have the ability to pay attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and excellent customer service skills.
