- Previous experience in healthcare administration.
- Experience managing patient account balances and health insurance claims processing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage patient financial accounts including follow-ups on accounts receivable
- Manage appointment scheduling with patients and outside provider offices
- Register patients for services in the electronic health records system
- Organize and prioritize patient referrals by date received and service level
- Assist with insurance claims processing and verification
- Assist in obtaining necessary prior authorizations for services
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
