Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated research technician to join our group as part of the Single Cell Genomics Core who will play a critical role in performing spatial transcriptomic analysis. In this role, you will contribute to cutting-edge research projects aimed to understanding the spatial organization of gene expression within tissues. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Job Duties
Key Functions
- Perform single cell spatial experiments using Merscope and Xenium Platform.
- Tissue Staining - H&E stain and IHC.
- Data transfer to the customers.
- Train and support customers.
Secondary Functions
- Assemble and operate laboratory apparatus and equipment.
- Records and evaluates data in accordance with methods requested.
- Maintains records of samples received, data produced and their location.
Ordering and stock management
- Manage inventory of lab supplies and equipment.
- Create and manage receipts for purchased items, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping

Maintain organized and up-to date records of all financial transactions related to lab operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- One year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in basic science or a related field.
- One year or more of research experience in molecular biology.
- Experienced in techniques related to DNA and RNA handling is highly desired.
- Previous experience in histology is a plus, but not essential.
