ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) who will work in partnership with Vaccine R&D(VRD) to deliver key Digital solutions. They will work closely with VRD colleagues to understand the evolving and expansive digital needs to support the VRD portfolio. The role will be responsible for understanding, elaborating, and communicating users’ workflows and requirements to ensure technology solutions deliver high-impact value for VRD.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Have a strong understanding of VRD’s process and workflows:
Build and maintain diagrams to describe business processes
Analyze, document, and communicate the user requirements:
Manage change in requirements over the project lifecycle
Provide input on design to ensure business needs are met
Identify areas of risk due to requirements and surface to team leads
Establish relationships with customers and members of the project team and liaises between the business and technical members of the project team, ensuring that the project team understands the customer needs.
Partner with Client Partner to secure agreement on the requirements from VRD.
Lead the development of the testing plan and scripts, supports the execution of UAT, and ensures that all requirements are met.
Partner with Client Partner on engagements with external solution providers.
Identify risks and impact of changes in requirements.
For smaller projects, this role will lead as a project manager working with the technical team to ensure project timelines are met and communicate project status to management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific discipline or computer science.
Working knowledge of IT systems Pharma/Biotech laboratory environments.
3 plus years experience in business analysis with history to deliver- experience in brainstorming, interviewing, leading requirement sessions, activity diagrams, process modeling, and wireframes.
Facilitation, consensus building, superb organization, and written communication skills
Ability to work in ambiguous situations
Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications required.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Must contribute to a team-based, collaborative, and positive environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Success in delivery IT systems in Biotech and/or Pharma.
Ability to work in ambiguous situations.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Occasional business travel within US.
