Job Overview
The Department of English at the University of Cincinnati is seeking applicants for a Visiting Assistant teaching position for one year with the possibility of renewal up to two years.
The successful candidate will teach and help enhance curricula in the English Composition Program in the Department of English – Clifton Campus. Classes will include first-year and intermediate composition.
Essential Functions
The teaching load is 3-3. Classes will primarily be in-person but may also include some hybrid or online teaching.
Minimum Requirements
• A Master’s degree in English or a closely related area
• Prior composition teaching experience with an emphasis on first-year students
• Good organizational skills and written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualification
• Online or hybrid experience
