ROLE SUMMARY

Our go-forward in-line portfolio of more than 25 medicines and biosimilars includes several mechanisms of action to attack cancer from multiple angles. Our focus areas include: breast cancers; genitourinary cancers, with prostate and bladder cancer; hematology, with certain types of multiple myeloma as well as leukemias and lymphomas; gastrointestinal cancers, gynecological cancers and melanoma; and thoracic cancers, which includes lung cancer.
This role will focus on our US Hematology portfolio and will be a member our Commercial Oncology Leadership team.
Our current hematology oncology expected to be above $2B in global revenue this year. Products include: Adcetris which has more than half a dozen approved indications including for classical Hodgkin lymphoma as well as other lymphomas. Recently approved Elrexfio (elranatamab) for Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma in the Triple Class Exposed setting. Additional approvals and launches in this indication are expected in the coming years, and there are multiple Phase 3 trials of Elrexfio currently enrolling, which investigate use earlier in MM treatment. Additional products such as Bosulif, Besponsa, Mylotarg and Daurismo for treatment of Leukemias are also in the portfolio. For more details: https://www.advancinghemonccare.com/
This role is a great opportunity for a strong leader to shape and define the strategies for the US Hematology portfolio with sales of approximately $2B per year and growing.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop US brand strategies, marketing plans and positioning with an emphasis on designated priority brands
- Lead successful US Hematology launches (e.g., NME , Indications, new data)
- Participate and contribute as an active, enterprise leader on the Commercial Oncology Leadership Team reporting directly to the Commercial Oncology President
- Continually assess competitive environment, new product launches and competitive clinical data to determine portfolio competitive strategy & response
- Collaborate effectively across a diverse cross-functional team, including global marketing and medical affairs that co-creates the US commercial strategies
- Partner in the development of forecasts, plans, strategies and operational commitments (Op Plan) to ensure adequate supply and delivery.
- Providing strategic direction for competitive scenario planning to ensure the portfolio continues to grow (through both competitive intelligence and global commercial interventions) amongst a highly competitive and fast evolving market.
- Build a high performing team through the ability to attract, engage, coach and develop the best talent while modeling our Values of Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy. Current team size of approximately 20 people.
- Partner and build strong relationships with all key stakeholders including field-based sales forces while emphasizing focus.
- Support Lifecycle planning, generation of new data and real-world evidence in partnership with medical, regulatory, R&D, GAV colleague
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 20 years of successful marketing/commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Minimum 10 years of people management experience
- Minimum 5 years of Oncology experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated strategic marketing and analytical thinking skills
- Prior launch experience highly desired
- Experience in working successfully in a highly competitive environment strongly desired
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through setting a common vision and purpose, influence, and persuasion.
- An absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency and enthusiasm while prioritizing and meeting team goals
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others through times of change
- Experience with the US market is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $262,100.00 to $436,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
