Job OverviewUnder general supervision from the OCRI Executive Staff Director, the Program Manager will plan and manage OCRI programs and events. The essential functions will include managing programs, events, initiatives in accordance with the OCRI annual plan and in alignment with its vision and mission. This position requires collaborative effort with various stakeholders including, but not limited to, OCRI staff, OCRI regional programming centers, state agencies, and the general public. In addition, the program manager will develop operation standards and procedures in partnership with the OCRI Executive Staff Director, and in alignment with OCRI and UC jurisdiction and policies. This position will serve on the OCRI leadership team.
Essential Functions
Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
Implement policies and procedures.
Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports.
Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.
May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Three (3) years of relevant experience

Experience in project management is preferred
