Assist with and perform routine-level facility controls diagnostics with close instruction and guidance from a Facilities Trades Engineer or Facilities Trades Technician in support of maintaining the University’s Facilities automated management systems. Promote a safe work environment in the shop and in the field. Operate a University vehicle. Actively engage in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability, and delivering great customer experience. Report to the Building Controls Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
High School Diploma and one year of specific trade and operation exposure to mechanical equipment and controls, maintenance and repair required. Valid driver’s license and driver’s check may be required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing specific job functions. Initial employment contingent upon successful completion of background check.
Desirable Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications required. Knowledge of computer programming/operation required.
Knowledge of programming/operation of Honeywell and Johnson Control systems.
Anticipated Pay Range $22.00-$24.00/hour
