Reporting to the Director of ADA & Accessibility Services the Case Manager often serves as the initial point of contact for several units in the Office for Equity & Accessibility and must ensure matters are handled in a timely, sensitive and confidential manner. The Case Manager will support units within the Office for Equity and Accessibility. The position will create and maintain accommodation case files. The position will send out and manage appropriate ADA forms, track ADA forms, record receipt of ADA documents, file ADA documents, and follow up with notes on case management form, and maintain databases related to the ADA interactive process, and assist with commencement related activities as needed. The incumbent assists in providing onsite office coverage and assists with receiving visitors to the office. In this capacity, the incumbent may provide resource information to visitors or callers seeking assistance. the position supports the daily activities of the office including but not limited to: triaging calls, responding to inquiries on the OEA, OEA training, and ADA email addresses, referring issues to the appropriate resources, handling correspondence, developing and maintaining systems for tracking and retrieving data related to mandated workshops, generating and reconciling reports, assisting and preparing information to meet internal and external reporting requirements, assisting with event preparation and coordination. The position provides administrative support to directors of different units within OEA and provides backup support as needed to the operations coordinator in coordinating fiscal and other operations matters for the department.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with employee and/or student conflict management, or case management.
• Proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, management of records.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive and stressful situations in a professional and confidential manner.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with large and diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of EO/AA laws and principles of equity and diversity.
• Ability to monitor case management using a database.
• Ability to support the development of a campus culture that values and promotes diversity.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Case management experience in a legal or regulatory compliance environment
• Experience with ADA or Title VII laws, regulations, and principles
• Experience in equal opportunity, affirmative action, or human resources
