Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the curricular, pedagogical, and social emotional components of a grade-level MuncieP3 student cohort.
  
  
  
  
• Initiate, develop and implement appropriate lesson plans.
• Initiate, facilitate and integrate multi-choice activities.
  
  
• Develop positive relationships with children and provide motivational support and guidance.
• Use restorative practices to address behavioral issues and foster a positive learning community.
• Identify and recommend the purchasing of supplies for classroom.
• Assure safety and supervision of children at all times.
• Plan and supervise program field trips.
• Meet regularly with MuncieP3 Program Director.
• Review program participant assessment data to inform instruction.
• Meet monthly with Longfellow school-day teachers to ensure curriculum alignment.
• Practice positive communication with teachers, assistant teachers, Program Director and all support staff.
• Submit all required documentation in a timely fashion.
• Develop and maintain positive family and community relations, including regular communication with families to ensure continued program partnership.
  
  
• Complete all other assigned tasks necessary for MuncieP3 to achieve its mission.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance as required by this position.
