Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the curricular, pedagogical, and social emotional components of a grade-level MuncieP3 student cohort.
- Initiate, develop and implement appropriate lesson plans.
- Initiate, facilitate and integrate multi-choice activities.
- Develop positive relationships with children and provide motivational support and guidance.
- Use restorative practices to address behavioral issues and foster a positive learning community.
- Identify and recommend the purchasing of supplies for classroom.
- Assure safety and supervision of children at all times.
- Plan and supervise program field trips.
- Meet regularly with MuncieP3 Program Director.
- Review program participant assessment data to inform instruction.
- Meet monthly with Longfellow school-day teachers to ensure curriculum alignment.
- Practice positive communication with teachers, assistant teachers, Program Director and all support staff.
- Submit all required documentation in a timely fashion.
- Develop and maintain positive family and community relations, including regular communication with families to ensure continued program partnership.
- Complete all other assigned tasks necessary for MuncieP3 to achieve its mission.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance as required by this position.
