Job Summary
The Coordinator of Student Wellbeing is an essential part of the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. The Coordinator plans, implements, and coordinates the delivery of health promotion, wellness programs, and campus sponsored events for students.
The Coordinator utilizes independent decision making while working collaboratively across the enterprise to implement programs that contribute to the holistic wellbeing of students. The Coordinator develops a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to wellness for students that supports the student learning environment. The Coordinator implements goals outlined in the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs Strategic Plan to facilitate the holistic wellbeing of students.
The position works with campus partners, including Student Health Services, Student Counseling and Psychological Services, Office of the Dean of Students, Campus Recreation, Testing and Disability Services, Title IX, and other campus partners to collaborate and coordinate educational programs to increase awareness regarding health and wellness topics and resources.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION: Plan and implement health promotion, wellness programs, and events for students. Coordinate and schedule wellness related student activities and programs.
LIFESTYLE/WELLNESS ASSESSMENT: Develop healthy lifestyle materials for educational programs and services. Assist with student health and wellness assessment surveys and program evaluations. Manage the Student Wellness program website and related promotional materials.
TRAINING AND SUPERVISION: Train and supervise graduate assistants, undergraduate student interns, and student peer educators for various specialized health and wellness programs and services.
CAMPUS AWARENESS: Build campus awareness of student services and resources regarding wellness opportunities through various programs, events, and workshop presentations. Assist with management of any grants such as the Georgia Office of Highway Safety Alcohol Awareness grant and provide educational program opportunities to support DUI prevention.
COLLABORATION: Will work as a collaborative team member within the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs to promote effective services and practices that address campus health issues. Participate in professional development opportunities, including being involved with various professional organizations to expand knowledge and experiences related to student wellness.
OTHER DUTIES: Perform all other job-related duties.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university plus two years years' experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Master's degree in public health, health promotion, or related field.
Preferred Experience
Experience in health promotion, wellness, fitness or related activity. Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Pay Band: B8
Salary Minimum: $45,400 - $46,280
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
