I. Job Summary (what is this?)
As a part of the Graduate Admissions team, this position performs admissions related tasks to effectively support University of Louisville’s graduate enrollment goals. Duties include managing application data in the application processing system using Slate, OnBase and PeopleSoft. Assists in the student's successful navigation of admissions processes, with the ultimate goal of helping students fully complete an application. Assists with providing direct customer support via the graduate admissions service account, phone calls and walk-ins, as needed. Success in this position requires attention to detail, as well as troubleshooting issues on a daily basis. An ability to work with a diverse population and good communication skills are also necessary. Performs other duties as directed by supervisor. May perform other duties within the Graduate School as needed. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide fast, accurate, and consistent high quality data entry for new applications and other required admission documents, to ensure best practices and efficient workflow.
Reviews international transcripts for authenticity and bachelor's equivalency according to institutional standards.
Receive and review submitted documents for completeness, accuracy and authenticity.
Answer general questions concerning admission and graduate school policies, procedures, and practices, as needed.
Ability to establish work priorities, coordinate the timely completion of work assignments, strong organizational skills.
Act as a point of contact via phone and e-mail by answering inquiries from prospective students direct customer assistance to prospective graduate students.
Assist with events within the Graduate School, as needed including admissions and orientation events, hooding ceremony, workshops and other special programs.
Researches, identifies, analyzes, and troubleshoots graduate application processing issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree
2 years experience in Data Processing.
Ability to establish work priorities, coordinate the timely completion of work assignments, strong organizational skills.
Experience with PeopleSoft, OnBase and/or Slate.
Experience in working in a higher education environment.
Ability to multitask, adhere to deadlines, and adapt to changing demands and priorities.
Ability to work independently and contribute and collaborate effectively as a member of a team. Ability to handle communications, information, and data with sensitivity and confidentiality.

Target Compensation Maximum:
$24.77Target Compensation Minimum:
$16.51Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
