The University of Louisville's Delphi Center for Online Learning is seeking to hire a Communications and Marketing Specialist II (Digital Communications and Marketing Specialist II).
The communications and marketing specialist implements strategic digital marketing and media plans to provide visibility for the UofL Online brand and generate qualified interest across all online programs at the University of Louisville.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn) and other digital advertising campaigns, tracking media placements, analyzing performance data, evaluating Return on Investment (ROI) and reporting on campaign results to the marketing team.
Writes copy for digital ads and coordinates various types of content for digital media in alignment with our brand voice and target audience.
Creates and tracks marketing budgets, optimizes campaign allocations to maximize ROI and coordinates with various team members on ad creative for digital placements.
Coordinates the overall Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy, shares optimization recommendations with the marketing team, and updates and maintains online program landing pages.
Analyzes website traffic and reports on analytics (GA4) data, researches and reports on advertising and marketing trends, industry best practices, and competitors’ offerings.
Creates, documents and revises marketing, media buy, PPC campaigns and SEO processes as needed, focusing on efficiencies and process improvement.
This is a full-time position with a 37.5 hour regular workweek. This position’s team is based at the Belknap Campus. Remote/hybrid work may be considered with business needs and the primary candidate’s location in mind.

Preferred Qualifications
2 years of experience in digital advertising and marketing or directly-related areas.
Experience in higher education and/or online learning marketing and advertising is preferred.
Google Ads campaign management skills, budget and project management knowledge, copywriting, editing and proofreading skills, and ability to work with diverse teams are essential.
Digital marketing certifications (PPC, Analytics, Content, SEM, SEO, Social Media, etc.) are also preferred.
Targeted Compensation: $50,877 based on education and experience.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
