The University of Louisville's Delphi Center for Online Learning is seeking to hire a Communications and Marketing Specialist II
The communications and marketing specialist provides strategic and tactical marketing, advertising and communications support for the Online Learning unit and the online programs it serves across the university, by developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies, coordinating promotional campaigns and coordinating program-related marketing tasks and projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages and coordinates multiple marketing accounts across UofL’s academic colleges
Develops and executes content (written, video) strategies, writes copy for organic marketing, email remarketing, promotional materials, and disseminates content through available channels.
Research and applies best practices and trends in various industries to optimize content and campaigns
Coordinates internal and external marketing and recruiting promotions and provides communication support to online programs.
Creates and optimizes website content using SEO tools, Generative AI tools and data insights
Research, develops and applies best practices for continuous process improvement.
Responsible for analyzing marketing data, optimizing campaigns, evaluating return on investment (ROI) and reporting on campaign performance to stakeholders.
This is a full-time position with a 37.5 hour regular workweek. This position’s team is based at the Belknap Campus. Remote/hybrid work may be considered with business needs and the primary candidate’s location in mind.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education and/or online learning marketing and promotions
Expertise in content development, production and promotion, ad copywriting, proofreading and editing
Experience in account management and collaborative project coordination
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and market research methods
Professional certifications in marketing, advertising, content creation and optimization
