Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, plan and implement programs and services that support the persistence and achievement of 21st Century Scholars.
- Supervise a Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education (SAAHE) Graduate Assistant who will work with first year scholars.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to students at risk to aid in their development of the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and beliefs they need to succeed in college and their careers.
- Initiate collaboration with the Career Center on career and post-graduation programs and services.
- Collect and compile data on retention and persistence of 21st Century Scholars.
- Utilize and maintain proficiency in a variety of programs and software; that may include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows, Self Service Banner, Argos, EAB Navigate and Salesforce.
- Represent Cardinal Central at Preview Days, new student orientation, and other functions as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Serve as a resource and referral agent for students at risk of persistence. Work in collaboration with Academic Advising to provide appropriate guidance.
- Work collaboratively with the 21st Century Scholar Graduate Assistants on programming in collaboration with the ScholarCore student organization.
