---The Administrative Coordinator will oversee and directly manage, support, and deliver front desk operations for the College of Nursing. The position will assist with the logistics of the front desk, as well as serving as the initial face of the College. The position will support Student Affairs with the front desk, as well as customer service, phone service, event support, planning, and projects in support of student services. This position includes an emphasis on excellent customer services skills and a high-quality student experience.
- Assumes day-to-day responsibility for organizing and coordinating specialized clerical functions.
- Answers questions, provides information and handles complaints for internal and external customers.
- Updates office procedures for a more efficient operation when necessary.
- Assists with preparation of budgets, controls delegated budgetary expenses and maintains budgetary records.
- Approves departmental expenditures within predetermined guidelines
- Reviews billing from contractors and vendors, adjusts as needed.
- Establishes and maintains filing systems including confidential documents.
- Assists with design and selection of departmental computer programs.
- Selects, supervises, trains and evaluates performance of assigned staff.
- Prepares staff schedules and monitors and approves time worked.
- Coordinates departmental personnel and payroll issues.
- Plans and coordinates special projects.
- Schedules appointments and makes travel arrangements
- Collects and disseminates information for internal and external customers
- Able to communicate well and build rapport with faculty, staff, and students.

- Schedule various appointments for office and ensures administrative details are completed.

- Answers questions and handles complaints for internal and external customers.
- Assesses the needs of students and helps to implement targeted programs and services.
- Supports a team of Student Affairs Professionals taking on additional tasks during peak periods.
- Assists with development and administration of office policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
---Required Education: High School Diploma or GED AND:
- 12 months office, clerical, or administrative experience.
Skills:
- Basic math skills
- Advanced computer skills with wide knowledge of business software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
