We are searching for a Network Security Engineer with firewall management experience to join our Security Operations team and support the campus mission of improving humanity by preventing illness, saving lives, educating health professionals and scientists, advancing science, and serving our communities. Main responsibilities will be:
Configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise cloud and on premise firewalls and VPN.
Create and manage firewall rules, NAT policies, and VPN configurations.
Continuously monitor the effectiveness and availability of firewall and VPN services.
Continuously improve the SecOps services from both security and operational perspectives.
Help maintain SecOps firewall Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Help maintain network security metrics that measure the efficacy of our network security services.
Work Location:
Hybrid – This position is eligible for a hybrid work environment. AMC ISIC strives for a high-flex work environment, meaning although this role may predominately be executed effectively with a remote schedule, there may be instances where in-person meetings and/or activities are needed. There is no minimum or prescribed in-person requirement. The work schedule will be based around core working hours in Colorado Mountain Time.
