Job Description

Summary

This internship provides hands-on experience in radiology research within a laboratory setting. The intern will support faculty by assisting with data collection and imaging analysis, while gaining exposure to both the technical and patient care aspects of radiology. Through guided training, seminars, and potential clinical observation, the intern will develop foundational knowledge in imaging-based diagnosis and treatment, as well as research methodologies in a medical environment.

Job Duties

  • Assist with data collection and organization for ongoing radiology research projects
  • Review and analyze medical imaging using relevant software tools
  • Support faculty with image analysis and research-related tasks
  • Attend seminars, lectures, and professional development sessions
  • Participate in clinical observation opportunities to gain real-world insight into radiology practice
  • Contribute to understanding imaging diagnosis and treatment through guided learning activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in medical school preferred
  • Interest in radiology, medical imaging, or clinical research
  • Basic familiarity with research methods or data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
