Defining Human Diversity -Affect/Awareness

Dr. Vanessa Hayes of the J. Craig Venter Institute takes us to a place where time doesn't exist: the Kalahari desert in South Africa. Hayes tells us how, through her work conducting the first genome sequence of an indigenous person and studying the unique DNA of the bushmen who can exist without water for weeks, she's discovered the story of the distinct pasts and common future we share with them.
