Duties and Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination: Design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate evidence-informed programs and initiatives focusing on harm reduction, education, prevention, and community care. Programs should address multiple dimensions of wellness and may include but should not be limited to topics such as alcohol and other drugs, sexual health, stress management, mental wellness, public health initiatives, and overall health and well-being.
- Collaboration: At the discretion of the Director, serve as liaison between office staff, collaborating with community and campus partners (staff, students, and faculty) on creation and implementation of health and well-being services for the university, including but not limited to the Counseling Center and Student Health Center staff(s).
- Meeting Facilitation: Support facilitating meetings involving staff, community partners, and program stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of wellness initiatives.
- Supervision: Provide guidance, support, and education to student employees, graduate assistants, volunteers, interns, and practicum students involved in health promotion programs.
- Campus Engagement: Support the Director in coordinating activities aimed at addressing campus health and well-being needs, engaging in the implementation and administration of program objectives, and meeting/supporting individual students.
- Marketing and Outreach: Collaborate in monitoring and coordinating the development of social media content, promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, websites, and brochures to promote health and wellness programs.
- Assessment: Work with the Director to support program and community assessment efforts to ensure program effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Other Duties: Support the Director in performing other related duties as assigned, including (but not limited to) participation in departmental, divisional, and campus-wide meetings and committees.
