Duties
● Teachfully online cybersecurity graduate courses; teaching load for a Lecturer is four courses per semester with one course release for directing the graduate program
● Oversee graduate student capstone experiences, internships or directed research
● Hire and supervise adjunct faculty members in the program
● Collaborate with the chair in the Department of Computer Science & Physics and College of Arts & Sciences dean’s office to schedule annual course offerings and faculty workload
● Advise current and prospective graduate students, especially with course selection and degree planning
● Collaborate with the graduate admissions office to recruit prospective students
● Collaborate with the marketing department to keep online and printed program information fresh and up-to-date
Position Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in cybersecurity or related computing field required
- 2 years of demonstrated (academic) leadership experience required.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated collegiate teaching experience required along with a demonstration of prior online teaching experience
- Experience using the Canvas LMS in an academic setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
